About Us
At Desert Cactus, we are for the fans.
2004
What began in 2004 as a college student’s idea has grown into a leading name in the officially licensed products industry.
Founder Joe Stefani recognized an opportunity to bring authenticity, creativity, and quality to licensed merchandise — starting with Greek organizations and expanding far beyond.
2012
By 2012, Desert Cactus officially launched, entering the marketplace with direct-to-consumer sales of apparel and flags.
From the beginning, the company’s mission was clear: to deliver licensed products that combine creative design, premium quality, and operational excellence.
2017
In 2017, licenses with the U.S. service academies were added. In 2019, the company expanded into college and university licenses, followed by professional league partnerships with the NBA, NHL, and English Premier League in 2021, and the WNBA, NHLPA, and international soccer organizations in 2023.
In 2024, the Collegiate Licensing Company recognized Desert Cactus as one of the top 10 licensees in the non-apparel category — reflecting both our performance and our commitment to excellence across every partnership.
Present Day
Today, as we expand our reach through new licensing agreements with national soccer federations and global clubs, Desert Cactus remains focused on what matters most: building trusted partnerships, ensuring brand integrity, and creating products that connect people to the teams they love.
